We have not appointed a data protection officer; the conditions for a mandatory appointment under Art. 37 GDPR are not met. For questions about data protection, please use the contact details above.
2. Principles
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website and our services. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a), (b) and (f) GDPR.
This website uses no analytics or marketing tools. There is no tracking, no profiles are created, and no third-party services are embedded that transmit data to external servers when the page is loaded. Fonts and program libraries are delivered exclusively from our own server.
3. Accessing the website (server log files)
When you access this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data that our hosting provider stores in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the file retrieved
- amount of data transferred and status of the request
- browser and operating system used
- the previously visited page (referrer), if applicable
This processing is based on our legitimate interest in the stable and secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The provider processes the data on our behalf; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place as an annex to the provider’s terms of service. Hostinger in turn uses sub-processors, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Cloudflare. Where data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area, this is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. The current list of sub-processors is available at hostinger.com/legal/dpa.
4. Contact form and email
If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide – name, email address, subject and message text – exclusively to handle your enquiry.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time informally by emailing info@lanespot.com; the lawfulness of the processing carried out until then remains unaffected.
We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. If your enquiry leads to a contract, the commercial and tax law retention periods of six or ten years apply.
5. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising purposes. Technically necessary cookies may be set by the content management system, for example to associate your input in the contact form while it is being submitted. These cookies are required for the operation of the website (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are deleted at the end of the session. No consent is required for this.
6. External links
Our site contains links to the LinkedIn profiles of our team members. These are plain links; data is only transmitted to LinkedIn when you actively click such a link. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on the linked pages.
7. Your rights
You have the following rights against us regarding your personal data:
- access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent given (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
An email to info@lanespot.com is sufficient to exercise these rights.
Independently of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bulgarian data protection authority:
Комисия за защита на личните данни (Commission for Personal Data Protection)
bul. “Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov” 2
1592 Sofia, Bulgaria
Email: kzld@cpdp.bg · Web: www.cpdp.bg
You may also contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or place of work (Art. 77(1) GDPR). Data subjects residing in Germany may therefore also contact the state authority responsible for them.
8. Data security
This website is transmitted encrypted via TLS (recognisable by the padlock symbol in your browser). Your input in the contact form therefore cannot be read by third parties.
9. Changes
We will update this privacy policy if the legal situation or the processing on this website changes.
